After the third hurricane, my girlfriend told me she loved me very much, but hurricanes were not for her. We returned to Israel, got married and built a family with four wonderful children. I kept exploring the connection between people, motivation and influence, completed a master’s degree in communication, and soon found my way into entrepreneurship.

One idea became a startup. Then came another, and another. For more than twenty years I founded and led five startup companies.

One merged. One went public. Two were acquired. And one closed. Along the way I dealt with almost everything a company encounters: product, teams, fundraising, investors, markets, sales, pivots, growth, crises, and above all, People.

Together with a Navy Brigadier General, I co-founded a venture capital fund for maritime startups. I completed a master's degree in Marine Resources Management, and for five years, we invested in several maritime startups in partnership with the Ratio Group. Ultimately, I realized that my true passion and where I bring the most value, lies in working with the people who build and lead companies. I sat down to write a book distilling everything I had learned over the years. That book gave birth to a methodology, which in turn evolved into lectures, workshops, consulting, and mentoring. Today, I work with entrepreneurs and executives to build companies capable of growing, adapting, and weathering storms.
